one we know grew up wanting to be an insurance broker (other than our Chairman,
who is legendarily weird anyway). Yet, despite having suffered from benign
intellectual neglect, insurance is a fundamental part of the world's economy and
the financial services industry. By spreading risk, it secures people's lives by
enabling them to own homes, build businesses and trade with other parts of the
world.
But it seems to us that our
goals as a company - creative products sold at an economical price; quality
service delivered efficiently and consistently; and caring about your customers
- can best be achieved in a happy environment that fosters teamwork and personal
growth. This doesn't sound like a somber and staid place to us and, we hope, to
