What To Do When You Have A Claim - General Guidelines

Prompt reporting of actual losses or situations that could result in a claim is extremely critical to the adjustment process for several reasons. 1) It is a policy requirement that if breached, could void your coverage; 2) It enables your insurance carrier to begin a prompt investigation and document evidence to protect your interests against liability claims; and 3) It expedites a prompt response to first party property losses that will minimize the inconvenience to you and your tenants and return the property to normal operations as quickly as possible.

Claims should be reported using a standard General Liability Notice of Occurance/Claim or Property Loss Notice.
