Submissions, Renewals and the BOR Procedure

Submissions All submissions will be cleared no more than 90 days prior to the effective date. Submissions should be written, sent via mail, e-mail or fax, and include 1) an application and 2) hard copy carrier loss runs for current year and 3 years prior. Send them to your underwriter or submissions@distinguished.com

Please keep in mind that a phone call is not a submission. We have to receive the following information in writing before we can log it in:

• named insured
• effective date
• mailing address and/or location(s)

Accounts will be reserved for 24 hours until the full submission is received. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Renewals We will contact you 60-90 days prior to renewal. Contact your service underwriter or Jim Tesoriero, Executive Vice President, at (212-297-3150 or jtesoriero@distinguished.com ) if you have questions.

Broker of Record (BOR) Procedure BORs must be signed by owners or board presidents, and will be accepted midterm for service only. We allow 10 days for rescinding a BOR, or until binding effective date, whichever is sooner.
